Kelly Evans is a well-known American media personality, she is currently working at CNBC as the anchor for The Exchange and The Power Lunch. Before joining the station she was an economics reporter at The Wall Street Journal. Evans joined the network in 2012 as a correspondent.

Evans previously worked for The Wall Street Journal as an economics reporter and “Heard on the Street” columnist. She also hosted WSJ.com’s daily “News Hub” program. She joined the Journal in 2007 after receiving a bachelor’s degree from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
Evans began covering real estate and economics for the Wall Street Journal in 2007. She also worked for the Global Economics bureau as a reporter. Evans moderated a Republican Primary debate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in 2012. She also moderated a debate between James Carville and Ann Coulter as part of her alma mater’s 25th annual mock convention. She has been compared to Erin Burnett, a former CNBC host who left the cable business channel to anchor a CNN news program.
