Matthew Drudge Biography
Matthew Drudge is an American journalist and media personality, he is known for being the creator of the Drudge Report. He is also noted for being an American news aggregator and author.

Before starting the Drudge Report, a news aggregation website, Drudge was not well recognized. He had odd jobs for many years, including night counterman at a 7-Eleven, Time-Life book salesperson, McDonald’s manager, and sales assistant at a New York City grocery shop.
He relocated to Los Angeles in 1989 and settled into a compact Hollywood apartment. He applied for a position at the CBS Studios’ gift store, eventually rising to manager.
The Drudge Report had 1,000 email subscribers in March 1995; by 1997, Drudge’s email service had 85,000 members. When Drudge broke several stories ahead of the major media in the late 1990s, his website became more well-known. When Drudge revealed that Jack Kemp would be Republican Bob Dole’s running mate in the 1996 presidential election, he first attracted widespread attention.
In his own words, “the only time anyone will let me on the air” was on Drudge’s Sunday night talk radio show. Premiere Radio Networks distributed the program, also known as the Drudge Report. Rush Limbaugh, a conservative radio talk show host, invited him to host as a guest. Drudge became well-known in the early 2000s by frequently referencing news articles on Limbaugh, Hannity, and Mark Levin’s radio programs.
It was released on July 28, 2020. The book is titled The Drudge Revolution: The Inside Story of How Talk Radio, Fox News, and a Gift Shop Clerk with an Internet Connection Took Down the Mainstream Media. In order to provide readers with the first inside look at Drudge and his website, novelist and investigative journalist Matthew Lysiak spoke with more than 200 former acquaintances and colleagues, including former Drudge Report editor Joseph Curl.
