Melissa Grelo is a Canadian media personality, she is known for being the co-host of CP24 Breakfast and moderator of The Social. She and Ben Mulroney are co-hosts of CTV’s national morning show Your Morning.

Melissa Grelo was born and raised on a horse farm in the beautiful rolling hills of caledon, ontario, north of toronto.
She went to a French immersion elementary and high school and then went on to York University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and French. She also obtained her Bachelor of Education.
Melissa completed her Masters of Education program at the University of Toronto’s famous Ontario Institute for Studies in Education before deciding to pursue her passion of Broadcast Journalism at Seneca College.
She quickly rose through the ranks of television broadcasting, first reporting for CKVR in Barrie, then A-Channel, and finally CITY-TV in downtown Toronto. Grelo has covered major news events in Toronto and across the country, including the Sunrise Propane explosion in 2008, municipal and provincial elections, and even the Much Music Video Awards.
However, one of her professional milestones occurred in 2010, when she was presented to the Canadian national audience as the only local television personality chosen to co-host CTV’s live Olympic coverage from the Vancouver Winter Games. She and Seamus O’Regan co-hosted for 17 days straight from the heart of Whistler Village.
Her next career milestone occurred shortly after, when she reported from the red carpet at the Academy Awards in 2012.
Melissa introduced the idea of an all-female chat show to Bell Media’s then-president, and The Social was formed a few years later. Melissa and her co-hosts have interviewed some of the world’s finest celebrities, musicians, and newsmakers, including Sting, Rod Stewart, Kelly Clarkson, Emma Thompson, Hugh Jackman, Keith Urban, Sandra Oh, Chelsea Clinton, Margaret Cho, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and many more! In 2015, the show traveled to California and broadcast from Disneyland!
She can be found anchoring key network broadcasts like the Bell Let’s Talk mental health special with Howie Mandel, the annual Santa Claus Parade, or the Queen’s Plate horse race on TSN and CTV when she isn’t hosting The Social or Your Morning. She also covers important events from London and Windsor, UK, such as the previous two royal weddings.
Melissa has collaborated with famous brands such as Activia, Shoppers Drug Mart, Hershey’s Chipits, Sunwing, the Royal Canadian Mint, Huawei, and Fairlfe Milk through her work on The Social and Your Morning (Coca-Cola).
