Vick Hope Biography
Victoria Nwayawu Nwosu Hope is a British media personality, journalist and author. She is known for BBC 1 on Going Home with Vick and Jordan. She previously presented Crufts on Channel 4, Carnage on Sky One, and the Capital Breakfast show on Capital FM alongside Roman Kemp and Sonny Jay.

Hope co-hosted the Capital Breakfast program in London with Roman Kemp and Sonny Jay from 2017 until 2020. She had previously anchored weekend breakfast on Capital Xtra, a sister station. She joined Classic FM in 2019 and co-hosted the station’s Revision Hour with Ellie Goulding, Lewis Capaldi, and Dan Smith. Hope will co-host Life Hacks and “Official Chart: First Look” on BBC Radio 1 with Katie Thistleton starting in August 2020 in lieu of Cel Spellman.

Additionally, Hope and Kemp have shared the stage for Red Bull TV’s Can You Make It and ITV2’s 2Awesome. Hope was the host of the BAFTA Film Awards pre-show red carpet in 2020. Hope and Clare Balding co-hosted Channel 4’s Crufts that year.
Hope has presented shows for Channel 4’s 4Music channel since 2014, including Trending Live! with AJ Odudu and Jimmy Hill and interview shows Box Fresh, Face The Fans, HotBox, and The Hangout. Before that, she worked on youth and music shows for Disney Channel UK, MTV, Capital Xtra, and Vevo. Hope also reports on entertainment for ITV’s Lorraine.
Hope and Ricky Wilson, the lead singer of the band Kaiser Chiefs and a former art instructor, started co-presenting BBC’s Britain’s Best Young Artist in February 2022. Vick Hope’s Breakfast Show, which airs on ITV on Sunday mornings and features celebrities, drink recipes, and suggestions for summer reading, debuted on June 12, 2022, with Hope presenting the first edition.
