Victor Oquendo is an American journalist, he is known for currently working as an ABC correspondent based in Miami. Prior to working at ABC News, he worked at the WPLG affiliate as a reporter and anchor on their weekly evening newscast. Some of the most significant stories in South Florida have been covered by him.
When diplomatic ties between the United States and Cuba were established again, he assisted in leading WPLG’s reporting and visited the island to cover the visits of President Obama and Pope Francis.

He conducted an interview with Chris Anderson’s estranged mother for a feature story on the Miami Heat forward, exposing a side of him that few people had ever seen. Anderson is best known for his tattoos.
