Wendi Nix is an American sports journalist, she is currently working at ESPN. Before joining the network she worked at WHDH in Boston as a weekend sports anchor, she also worked at Fox Sports Net, and NESN. Nix joined ESPN in 2006 as a NFL and College host.

Nix began her television career in 1999 at ABC affiliate WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach-Florence, South Carolina, where she covered NASCAR and high school sports as well as news.
Nix joined ESPN in 2006 and currently hosts NFL and college football. Nix will take over as host of ESPN’s NFL Rewind and College Football Live in September 2020. Nix previously hosted NFL Live for three years, anchoring the weekday pro football show from studio and on-site at major NFL events such as the Scouting Combine, NFL Draft, and Super Bowl. Nix co-hosted Sunday NFL Countdown with Chris Berman for three seasons in addition to NFL Live (2014-16).
She began working for ESPN in August 2006 as a reporter and host covering college football, the NFL, and golf. On ESPN2, she previously hosted College Football Live and College Football Saturdays. She’s also appeared on SportsCenter and College GameDay. Her golf experience includes coverage of three of the four majors: the US Open (2007-10), The Masters, and The Open Championship.
Nix spent three years as a sports anchor and reporter at WHDH-TV (NBC) in Boston before joining ESPN (2003-06). She also worked for FOXSports as a national sports reporter, as an anchor/reporter for FOXSports New England (2002-03), and as an anchor/reporter for the New England Sports Network (NESN) in 2001.
