Dagen Mcdowell is an American journalist, she is currently working as a news anchor an c0-host of The Bottom Line beside Sean Duffy. Before joining the network she worked a personal finance column for TheStreet.com called “Dear Dagen.” McDowell later joined FOX News Channel in in 2007.

McDowell joined FOX News Channel in 2003 and was one of the first anchors on FOX Business Network when it launched in 2007. She currently co-hosts FBN’s new evening program, The Bottom Line, with Sean Duffy.
She has provided financial commentary and analysis on a variety of FOX News Media programs during her tenure, most recently on Fox Business News Mornings with Maria and Fox News Channel’s Outnumbered, The Five, and Gutfeld! She previously worked as a business day anchor on the network and provided news reports on the FBN simulcast of Imus in the Morning from 2011 to 2015.
Prior to joining FOX News Media, McDowell wrote a personal finance column called “Dear Dagen” for TheStreet.com. She began her career as a financial journalist at Institutional Investor and later moved on to SmartMoney magazine.
She co-hosted Your Questions, Your Money, a weekend call-in show designed to answer viewers’ pressing economic questions, in 2009. She has also conducted several high-profile interviews, including with former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, former Secretary of State and First Lady Hillary Clinton, financier Charles Schwab, Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH), former Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia, and Lady Gaga’s father Joe Germanotta.
