Kolkmeyer, who is originally from Rockford, IL, graduated from NIU with a BS in Meteorology and a minor in Applied Mathematics. Morgan’s fascination with weather began in August 2004, when she was caught in the path of Hurricane Charley. She’s been storm chasing across the Great Plains since then.
